Automated Box Cutter Description

ABOT™ models are an in-line pass through programmable box openers for automating manual case, box, and carton cutting operations. ABOTs are smart machines measuring the size of every incoming case tailoring each cut in the pattern specified at rates up to 1800 boxes per hour. Cases, cartons and boxes are fed in any size order or mix without the need to run same size batches or group sizes together.

ABOT assists order fulfillment, reverse logistics and re-pack by safely cutting open boxes and cases. ABOT enables faster replenishment, order picking and access to returned products. Cases of different goods and packing are cut open in the way that provides easeof access and the best protection for the product inside. ABOT performs this box opening by automatically tailoring the cut for different product and box sizes.
